Q. Who will work on my property?

Well trained, experienced personnel with the proper equipment. All employees wear a company uniform and will leave the property clean when the job is done.

Q. Are you ABN registered?

Yes, we are ABN registered and fully insured. We hold all the required checks necessary for a lawn care service company.

Q. What type of clients do you work for?

McSpuddy’s offers services to routine residential and luxury home occupants who want a quality lawn and knows the true value of caring for a beautiful home and property based on Brisbane’s North Side.

Q. What is included in the lawn mowing service?

All mowing services include lawn area/s mowed, whipper snippering along garden edges, concrete surfaces, edging the perimeter of the lawn and blowing down pathways.

Q. Do you offer ‘same day’ service ?

Usually our schedule is booked at least 7-14 days in advance therefore we cannot usually offer a same day service. However, there may be a chance that we can fit you in that day. It just depends on our schedule at the time if we get a cancellation or reschedule.

So if you need a job done on that day, please contact us to discuss the possibility.

Q. Our lawns need mowing ‘URGENTLY’. Can you help us?

We have heard this many times and the answer is Yes we may be able to help you, however if you haven’t done the lawns for some time, please note you will have to pay more and please don’t be offended if we decline the job due to our current schedule commitments or weather.

Q. We don’t have any money this week, ‘can we put our lawns off until next week’?

Our prices for lawn mowing are based on routine servicing – as such we allocate a spot in our schedule which is then unavailable for any other client. We do however understand that sometimes things come up and lawn mowing is not always the number 1 priority. In these cases we would much rather mow the lawns on schedule and come to some arrangement for payment to be made at a later date.  All we ask is that you give us prior notice of your situation so we can come to some arrangement before we do the job.

Please be aware that we do not provide credit and special arrangements will only be offered, at our discretion, to clients we have been servicing on a regular basis for a minimum of 3 months.

Q. What do you define as ‘overgrown grass’?

Sometimes lawns can be a bit long but not terribly overgrown. Every lawn is different and will depend largely on the length, thickness and type of grass.

But as a general guide we use the following to determine the state of the lawn:-

• Ankle height = slightly overgrown lawn.
• Shin height = overgrown lawn.
• Knee height = completely overgrown lawn.
• Above knee height, will cost large amounts of money to tame. Please respect our right to decline such a job depending on our schedule and weather conditions.

To avoid letting your lawns become overgrown we recommend the following mowing frequency: 

• Mid September to May –  Every 1-2 weeks
• June to Mid September – Every 4 weeks

Q. What do you define as a ‘routine client’?

Our routine services are clients whom are permanently booked into our system. This means that if you become a routine client of McSpuddy’s lawn care professionals, you won’t have to worry about your lawns. We arrive on the pre-arranged day, complete our service and leave you to enjoy your beautiful lawns.

Routine clients get priority service leading up to major public holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter.
